This perforated foil is available in 9 mic thickness and used in CT & CVT transformers which removes magnetic field when heavy voltages are passing through. At a particular interval there is a lapping of perforated Alu. Foil over crepe paper insulation.

This Alu. Foil is perforated under dust free, oil free & foreign particle free atmosphere in continuous roll form in the width available 410 mm wound on Handy cores of about 25 mtrs length.

APPLICATION:
Used by transformer industries.

HISTORY:
In electrical industries normally bare copper foil is used as a good conducting agent. When the final product is made this copper foil gets corrode because of moisture in the air & chemical reactions. To prevent such problems the copper strip is to be tinned.

THICKNESS:
Tinned copper foil strips is available in continuous length form 0.05 thickness to 1 mm thick or more. This material is easily solderable with flux. Normally copper foil used is soft (annealed).

WIDTH:
The widths available from 5 mm to 150 mm.

COATING:
Minimum coating is from 2 microns to max 7 microns. There will be an inner core of pvc or metal over which the material is properly wound.

APPLICATIONS:
Transformer industries for manufacturing capacitor bank, cable industries XLPE Cables & etc, capacitor, condensor manufacturers for taking out positive, negative connections.
